Day 512

Back in the Teaching Brewery. Not my turn to brew up a specialty beer, so there was the list of tasks that had to be accomplished, and there was us. Cleaning kegs, cleaning the bright tank, transferring student beer to kegs, bottling beer from kegs, lifting bags of spent grain onto Farmer John’s pick-up, and even a bit of brewing: a batch of pilsner on the large system. (However, the sparge went very slowly–I confess that I got bored and moved on to other tasks.)

Three weeks hence will be brew day for me, so I’d better get started on a recipe.
